Quantcast

With race week nearly upon us we're gearing up for a festive week of celebrations.  We have the perfect selection of bars and restaurants that will start or end your day on a high!  From brunch to beers…we’ve got it all!

THE BREWERY QUARTER is champing at the bit this Race Week with an action-packed schedule of events bringing something for everyone to enjoy.  Cheltenham Race Week, the mane event in the town’s calendar, is one of the busiest weeks of the year and The Brewery Quarter is the perfect place to celebrate with a mag-neigh-ficent selection of bars and restaurants.

Under Starters Orders

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and The Brewery Quarter has an array of options to start your day off in the best way possible. Chic bar Babel is geared up with sizzling bacon baps that will be served from 9am for £3.50, they’ll also have a big screen to keep up with the day’s action.

The Botanist is ready to giddy up and get galloping into Race Week with a bottomless brunch offer that is available on Ladies Day. For just £25pp you can get a Full English, Vegan English or fluffy pancakes with bottomless Prosecco, beer, juice, tea or coffee.

Brewhouse & Kitchen will also be serving up a delicious brunch menu from 8am, with a great selection of dishes. The front runners include smashed avocado on toast, the full English breakfast and the veggie breakfast. You can also catch the races live on screen throughout the week here!

Chiquito will be serving its traditional breakfast with a delicious Mexican twist from 9am.

Harvester is also unbridled with enthusiasm and will be serving its unlimited breakfast for just £9.49 between 9-11.30am, then from midday onwards you can enjoy an all-day breakfast from just £5.49.

Rein it in for lunch

Babel’s a la carte menu is available at lunchtime and Cosy Club, Chiquito and Frankie & Benny’s will all be serving up a lunchtime delight too. They are all saddled up and ready to cook up a storm to keep you going into the night. With delicious mains, creative cocktails and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere you’ll be hosted well here.

Not to forget racing on the big screen throughout the festival at both Babel and Brewhouse and Kitchen!

The Final Hurdle

When it comes to the evening entertainment, odds suggest The Brewey Quarter is going to be galloping into the night with a great atmosphere all round. The Botanist is not horsing around when it comes to queueing for drinks at the bar - a pre order package will get the party started as soon as you arrive. Race week deals range from £100 for a bottle of Prosecco, gin carafe and either four cocktails or eight beers right up to a platinum £250 package that includes two celebratory bottles of Moet, two gin carafes, eight cocktails and eight beers.

Babel will throw open an outdoor bar, offering pints of Guinness or Prava for just £5 and a DJ will bring on the beats from 5pm.

Brewhouse & Kitchen is hitting the ground running when it comes to evening entertainment with live music on every day of the races from 8pm. Steve Ferbrache, Joe Maher and The Bridge will all bring their vibrant vocals tracks for revellers to enjoy.

But racing’s not for everyone and for those hoping to escape festival fever, there’s plenty on offer at The Play Farm, Hollywood Bowl and Mr Mulligans

The Play Farm will have their teatime meal and entry offer valid all day, whilst Hollywood Bowl is running a special game and a drink for £5 promotion on race day evenings (online bookings only).

Why not take advantage of free parking in council car parks after 1pm each day of the races (sadly this excludes The Brewery Quarter NCP, but High St car parks are close by) and take advantage of a week packed full of entertainment for the whole family.

Demelsa Coleman, Marketing Manager for The Brewery Quarter, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting so many lively events here at The Brewery Quarter. From breakfast, to live music and plenty for families to enjoy too, we’re hoping we’ve got something for everyone to experience when they visit.

“Cheltenham Race Week is a huge event in the calendar and we are so excited that our venues are hosting so many events this year. We want to welcome locals and visitors to all enjoy what we’ve got on offer.”
