The Prezzo restaurant in Cheltenham's The Brewery Quarter aims to provide excellent food and friendly service in exceptionally stylish surroundings - yet at a reasonable price.
As a result of several tasting trips to Italy we were driven to source the best ingredients for Prezzo Cheltenham. Much of the produce we use is imported direct from the Emilia Romagna region in the north of Italy. Many of the dishes on the menu have been inspired by the cooking heritage of this region. This area has ties with both Palma and Bologna and also supplies delicious ingredients to the more well know areas of Sicily and Tuscany.
All of the Grana Padano parmesan cheese that we use has been matured for 36 months. We only use the finest Italian Pancetta. The sliced ham that we serve is Prosciutto de Parma. Our pizzas are prepared in an oven kitchen where you can see our chefs tossing them in the air! They are cooked in a traditional Italian open flame stone base oven.
It's not only pasta and pizza though. There's risotto, crab cakes, calamari, several chicken dishes, calzone and even stone baked sandwiches. Our desserts are divine and include Tarta Tartufo al Ciccolato which is a classic Italian truffle cake and our signature dessert, Carpaccio of Pineapple served with meringue, crème fraiche and fresh raspberries.
